Murano (Angela Hartnett's new place) is very, very good though the dining room is short on style or atmosphere.

Le Gavroche has good food but is exceedingly stuffy (jacket and all that crap).

I'm seeing a friend who seems to have dined everywhere in a few days. Will pick his brains.
