Ah yes the good old Imperial. Japanese guys usually classify the place as a 'luxury hotel' (along with a few others like Okura). It was good in the old days and reviews on Tripadvior are pretty good, but I'm not sure how they are now - although it might still be good.

I would probably prefer to try the ones frequented by FTers so that I can get some reviews from those that frequent higher end hotels.
