As for DXB-LHR on the A380, if Emirates have implemented a J blackout on the A380, then this is unfortunate. I suspect it will only be temporary, as more and more A380's come online, these will initially flesh out the high yield routes such as LHR.

And if my very small sample is to believed, the J loads aren't that good anyway.
