Just to add to other people's comments, driving from PPP to CNS is rather long and I have to say, quite boring, as someone who has done most of that drive. If it were interesting, I'd recommend it, but it really isn't that interesting (maybe for an hour or two, but not over that distance).

If you want to see the coastline, you could always do a aerial sightseeing on a light aircraft.
