Well it's been said before, indeed those seats (Slippery Slope Seats) were a big mistake. And what I don't understand is that this was quite clear when the first 777-200 entered service. Yet they still continued installing this inferior seat in all 747's and MD-11's too...

I find the AMS-BKK-TPE route quite convenient although it's also an option to transfer in HKG (either using KL or CX).
