KLM is the only European airline flying to/from Taipei. There are other European *A airlines that offer flights to Taipei, but on Cathay Pacific or China Airlines metal.
Alitalia also offers flights to Taipei, but on China Airlines metal. (no miles earning)

If you want to earn FB miles, then KLM is almost the only option. Or you could fly NorthWest via Japan...
