I don't see anyone being cruel or giving you cr@p for asking your question. There are posts asking you to clarify exactly what you were asking and some light-hearted humour. Definitely not cruel. Unfortunately we cannot read between the lines and guess what your initial question was. If you had been more specific, you may have got different responses.
The exact "savings" when using an eVIP vary wildly depending on a number of factors. What matters most is that YOU think it was a good use of your eVIPs.
