If you do stay on the 777, I found that the left hand aisle was used by crew walking between cabins quite a lot. Maybe the right is quieter.
Agreed, that seems to be a common view and one which many crew have confirmed to me as well, although it must be done sub-consciously as until I have discussed it with them they haven't actually realised it's true.
I still avoid the 777s wherever possible but when I do travel on one I always pick a K seat. On my next overnight to BOM, I have gone for 4K on a 14 seats in F configuration. The last two times I chose 1K which was OK, except slightly too close to the galley/WC.
