People have bad days and Israelis can be rude, especially when angry or upset. I would not bash the whole company over 1 bad apple in the tree.
Perhaps you had to witness this to believe it, but this was not just a "bad day". And she wasn't even Israeli, she was Indian. It was a total and complete meltdown. Easily the most unprofessional conduct I've ever personally witnessed.
And it wasn't just her; her manager was as inflexible as she was over an idiotic and non-sensible rule. She tried to tell me that every airline all over the world has this requirement to produce a credit card. One thing I'm sure of is that I've flown a hell of a lot more than she has, and have been asked for the booking credit card less than five times. In the cases where it wasn't available, they simply checked my ID (to mitigate cc fraud), issues my boarding pass, and sent me on my way.
This is what happens when you combine a little power and a lot of bad attitude. For further references, see "TSA".
