I have no problem sharing information when it helps everyone at the expense of no individual members--such as posting that a certain visa card gave free Admiral's Club membership etc.
However I draw the line at mileage runs that will take space away from people that need the flight and will find higher fares and no seats because someone needs to qualify for EXP.
I may not be right, and you may disagree with me, but that is how I feel.
Also when I am short EXP by 15k it is by choice that I do not go on mileage runs.
I just do not think it is worth it to me to have to fly an additional 30 hours plus the time coming and going to airports just to reach a higher level.
I know many disagree--and that is fine.
I just think that someone that has flown 1.5 mm miles on an airline for 20 years is probably a better customer for an airline than someone that reached EXP once and may fly another airline next year.
I understand that I get to check in the elite line--big deal--I do not check bags and use online check in, and I do not use the flight lounges, although I belong to the Admiral's Club for 20 years.
