A friend of mine was on AC137 (YYZ-YVR) last night (26DEC). The flight was about 45 minutes late pushing.

She mentioned that when they landed they waited for over 30 minutes to be marshalled in. I told her this is a constant with AC regardless of weather so it is to be expected. If there is ground available they will marshall an aircraft. If not, you sit and wait. I also mentioned that this is not weather related as it happens throughout the year in all weather consditions as AC has cut staff to the bare minimum.

If you take a look at flight aware it shows that the flight landed at 21h37.

If you look at AC's website you will see that AC137 arrived at the gate at 22h20.

Add to this they waited for their bags until 01h00 when they decided they would go home and come back to the airport this morning. She called me this morning for advice. She mentioned many unhappy pax. I told her that she is not entitled to anything but since her boyfriend is from BLI and was heading home but now needed to overnight in YVR was entitled to compensation.

She called me a few minutes ago. She asked baggage services if the bags from 137 are now available. He did not know but did say just look around and see if you can find anything. They found their bags and are heading for some breakfast in YVR.
