I've seen a few PCMCIA -> Express Card adaptors for $30-100 but I have no idea if they work. I saw that the S10 had a expresscard slot but you can't buy it with a 6 cell battery. I know you can buy it with a 3 cell and then purchase a 6 cell later, but that adds another $180 to the price.

I can't swap out the pcmcia for a usb since work issues a Dell D620 that has a pcmcia slot. The netbook would be a personal purchase while traveling and working. I subscribe to the lighter/smaller is better school of thought. As it is the only time I use my D620 is to check email while on the road. I can't use a personal computer while at my work site due to security issues.
