Well it seems that pigs do fly! China Southern Airways recently flew 700 live swine weighing in at 85 tons, from Chicago to Shangai on their new cargo route between the two cities according to the December issue of the Shoestring Traveler. Now we are exporting pigs to China?

What has the world come to? And is my luggage next to the pigs in the cargo bay? I am sure you don't hear any "squeals of delight" in economy either during the 12+ hour flight?
