Yes, I've been noticing that too. I think it's more fill in the blanks than anything else. I can see someone getting upset if the card in the room had a lower price (room inventory is rarely updated) than what they paid and might demand a refund. Also, there may be local ordances requiring the posting, but does not require it to be accurate.
