Hey, I made a hotel reservation for part of a travel package, here is what it says:
PointSavers Hotel Reward: 7-night(s) category 6
Total points for stay: 115,000
When I get the package issued are they going to honor this at the point rate reserved, or are they going to add back in 15,000 more Marriott Rewards points to bring this back up to the standard rate for a Travel Package at a category 6 property? In other words, if I get 120k AA miles with this, is it going to cost me a total of 235k or or 250k points?
Also, what implications does this have if I change the property to redeem this at sometime in 2009?
