Exactly. If the flight is significantly delayed (I think 2 hours), or if it cancels, you can say you're not interested in the rebook options and request an involuntary refund. In that case, they'll refund the full ticket price.

Downside is you have to keep an eye on the flight, and possibly online checkin if it gets close to departure.
