Hi Guys!

So here is my situation.

I booked a flight on DL for Air France's flight from MIA to CDG. Now I am trying to get a window seat on the upper deck. As a Platinum member of Flying Blue I though this was no problem. I called AF. They told me to call DL where I made the reservation. These guys then told me they cannot do anything for me (including booking 43J) and I would have to get the seat at the airport. Now I am coming in from MSP, not MIA. This means I will have to try to get the seat with my 59 minutes connecting time in MIA. I doubt that that will happen.
When I called AF again, they also told me that the decision can only be made in MIA. Is this true?!
