So for a 6'5" person, would 22A or 8A be better?

My wife is 5'4" so not like she cares about the leg room one bit
Besides getting off the plane quicker, is there a benefit of 8A over 22A?
The disadvantage of 8A is immovable seat dividers/armrests, so if you're wide that could be an issue. The plus of those is that if there's a Sumo wrestler next to you, he/she can't flow over the armrest into your space.

Correct. tall people should avoid Continental coach unless they can snag an exit-row seat that has extra legroom.
