Hi emcampbe,

"Only if it is related to the amount/price of fuel should they call it a fuel surcharge" Agreed. They could call it something like 'Portion of the airfare to be paid by the Aeroplan member for an award ticket' - but they should definitely stop calling it "Tax"

It is even less related to Tax than fuel.
