Who in their right mind would launch a new brand with a light renovation of a not-exactly-worldbeating-in-the-first-place property?
To be honest, its about time Marriott started treating R-C as simply a subset of its existing brands (sitting above JWM) and fully integrating it into Marriott Rewards etc whilst shuffling a few properties with the JWM and Marriott brands, instead of pretending it is a direct competitor to Four Seasons etc.
