The explanation so far is that my dad and I who use the same basic name flew on these flights together...both on paid tickets...I originated in FLL and he originated in CAE...we met up in ATL and flew ATL-SLC and ATL-LAS several times between 2000 and 2004. The flights we flew together are being deducted from me.
The basic notion is that 2 people with the same name and the same mailing address can not earn FF miles on the same flight on seperate paid tickets in seperate frequent flyer accounts...we live in different cities but his FF account has my mailing address.
I was told that a computer audit was done.
It appears that the frequent flyer service center does not exist except by fax and telephone reps can not call them anymore. This is very frustrating and complicated trying to get my earned miles back.
If u or a family member are using or sharing the same DL#
Why do u think it is unbelievable?
If u were sharing you are lucky they did not zero the account out.
