"stop calling it a fuel surcharge" actualy, I'd prefer they call it a fuel surcharge. On Aeroplan.com and the e-ticket & receipt for my award flight I booked last week the fuel surcharge is clearly labelled "Taxes" with no mention of anything fuel releated.
