My mom went ewr-las on Friday and it took about 5 hours to wait and get deiced. Her plane then had to make a fuel stop in DEN at about 4:30 am. Her overall time of sitting on the plane was around 13 hours. She called the WE "CARE" line and they said absolutely no compensation for her troubles. My mom is a plat, so if they were going to give anyone something it would have been her.

EWR gets snow, EWR is their hub, they could've done better.
Dealing with WE CARE is like dealing with a bunch of lawyers. They're trained in saying no, and they don't care if they leave you felling pissed off when you hang up.
