I'm 1K MM, and just within the past two weeks asked for a status match from both NW and DL. NW came through with Platinum Elite (their highest level), but DL only gave me Medallion Gold - their mid level. Since they're now merged, I believe I should get the same benefits on both carriers, so the NW works out to be a better deal.
