SLC-CDG 12/10/08 was great. While i am not wild with their new menues (too much like AF's BC!! - Yeah bring it on!!), the service was impeccable. Friendly, attentive, name recognition - the works!
On average I will say that the vast majority of my DL BE trips are comfortable with nothing to complain about at worst and memorable - much good to say about teams/individuals - at best.
I have many a story of great DL FA's and great experiences over the years, and in general I am fiercely defensive of the FA's, not only out of respect for what they do, and the difficulties and quirky paxes (and stupid FAA rules) they sometimes have to deal with, but also from having worked closely with now quite a few of them on several on-board medical emergencies I have been involved in over the years. As FFs we spend an iordinant amount of time in the FA's hands, and my experience, almost without exception is, that mutal kindness and respect goes al long way to make both theirs and our days in the air better!!
So let me take this opportunity to wish all the FA's and flight crews and ground staff and every other employee at DL: Happy Holidays!!
