Waitlist notification - error message

I received the following today at the 24 hour mark. My spouse has previously also received one of this. I *assume* that it's the expiration of an upgrade waitlist... but then again, I thought the waitlist now persisted past the 24 hour mark:

Subject: Continental Airlines Waitlist Notification for Confirmation <PNR>

Continental AirlinesSkyTeam
