Thanks for this enlightening (reinforcing

) information - that we might as well do everything to upgrade when buying (or later changing) the ticket.

One upside on ticket changes (for FTers from 1/1/09) will be the YQ reducing substantially on some airlines, with the rest hopefully to follow.

I hope to fly QR C again soon but am just equivocating on whether I should wait until the YQ drops. Thanks and I'll check with my (great) usual sources.
