Thanks for the legroom clarification, elCheapoDeluxe. I remember reading it and a big uproar w/ various fliers, but I had ceased much flying by then. There is a HUGE difference though between AA's extra legroom and any other airlines. If you are tall and will be flying coach on one of AA's extra legroom airplanes, that's a big reason to go AA.

I'll voluntarily stop commenting on AA's program and let other more recent fliers answer the questions. I wouldn't want to waste anyone else's time with misinformation. And with everyone else's upgrade success, I don't know why I was never able to upgrade once 8^(. Oh well. Goodbye.
