Sorry, but when one of the complaints from this self-proclaimed not-so-hard-to-please-guy is that the agent wears un-necessarily<sic> large earrings, I have a hard time accepting the other complaints at face value.

Surprised me, too, but as one of those who frequents DFW, I have never encountered an agent at C (or any other DFW AC) that resembles the one described by the OP. I have never had an agent get up and walk away as I approached, I have never had an agent fail to greet me pleasantly, and I have never seen one wearing unnecessarily large earrings (whatever that means).
