Um. No. Fairview....don't try to walk anywhere from the GF Amtrak station.
There are not exactly sidewalks leading to anywhere from the station.

I am guessing your arrival time is not during the daylight hours?

The Hilton Garden Inn is the closest and a nice place to stay particularly if what brings you to town has anything to do with UND. I would visit with their front desk about whether or not they will come pick you up.

The Canad Inn is also in the same vicinity. They might shuttle you as well.
