Hi everyone... I've done several transatlantic return flights this year (mostly BRU-EWR), ending up with 23,962 miles.

I was kind of peeved that I would not get Elite status, but when I logged in to my account today, it did say 'OnePass Elite Level: Silver'. I was also able to pick a premium seat for my next flights (Jan 30 & Feb 5). So I assume it's legit.

How's that possible though? I hadn't even received an official notification from Continental. And I assumed they'd be very strict about the 25,000 miles that you need to qualify. Also, this means that I will be Silver Elite all through February 2010, right? Do you think I will receive my 'valid until Feb 09' card before my trip on Jan 30? Or will I have to wait for the next batch to be sent out on March 1?
