Thanks for the price quotes. I think if it comes to buying tix, I'd definitely prefer Bangkok Air (or almost any airline) to TG after this experience.

But again, compared to many hassles that FTers post about (not least getting stranded in Bangkok due to the airport seizure), I realize this is relatively minor.
