Mom was supposed to be on 941 today MSP-PHX. US called at 1030pm last night and cancelled her flight but didn't tell her why. They offered to put her on a flight getting in at 1130pm tonight which is too late for her so instead but her on a connection through LAS getting her in around 830pm.

My question is this, since it was cancelled so early I'm guessing it is not weather related. Can they endorse the ticket over to NW? Isn't there something about getting her to her destination within 4 hours of original arrival?

She's bummed out. Has been waiting to see her granddaughter for a long time.
