Sounds like you have met my husband...
Ice cream can be a good thing with a rich pudding (like sticky toffee), since it takes the edge off of the richness). The chocolate fondant would probably be too rich a dessert for me: I like chocolate, but in very small doses.
Fortunately my husband really hates nuts - the sticky toffee pudding comes with pecans, I believe... so if I ensure that the nuts look prominent in the bowl, he should stay clear...
After all of this, I am going to get to dessert and have no room, aren't I?
