Had this happen with my dad... seems the agents think we do something illegal... and since the boarding pass is not in hand... we can't do it... (I did OLCI standby for my dad and he subsequently tried to get AS to print out a standby pass... but no go... the AS checkin agents in SEA refused... still need to contact SEA ops about that one...
)
