At this time of the year I usually pay attention to how restricted the AY carry-on baggage allowance actually is (especially for Christmas presents).

According to the AY website "Business Class, Finnair Plus Platinum, Gold and Silver members and Finnair Club members: one bag with the maximum outside dimensions of 56x45x25 cm or 22x18x10 in., plus one briefcase or laptop computer, regardless of travel class. A total of two pieces, with a maximum combined weight of 10 kg or 22 lbs."

Now, for instance MA allowes J class PAX 2 pieces, respectively of 10 and 8 kg, or let us quote: "Sky Club passengers are allowed to take 2 pieces of cabin baggage on board. Dimensions and weight may not exceed 55x40x20 cm/10 kg and 45x35x20 cm/8 kg." This means a total of 18 kg! That's very generous. ^ I do hope AY will one day follow its example in the OW "family"...
