Nope you cannot. The Standby rule is for an 'Alternate Flight, Same Day'. So, if your flight left at 1pm on Thursday. Then, theorhetically, you could stand by for a flight that left anywhere from 1:01pm Wednesday until 12:59pm Friday - which would exclude that 1pm flight on both Wednesday and Friday.
