Note that AC doesn't actually codeshare with BA. They simply offer to act as your travel agent to book flights on BA.

Anyway, you will not earn Aeroplan miles for flights operated by BA. You earn AP miles for flying on AC and *A partners, with a few other very narrowly determined exceptions (TAM, EVA air, Avianca, Air Creebec, First Air).

BA is definitely not an exception. If you have a FF account with a OW member, you can credit the BA-flown miles to that program if you like.
