So You Guys think that inseted of lowering the rates the hotels will offer better promos, upgrades, buy 2 get 1 offers and such?

That is a good idea as they are not lowering the rack rates but giving you more and possibly a free night after every two. Which is almost better that lower rates if you stay for over 5 nights.

I saw the FS in NY doing this and I have never seen that hotel offer free nights. It will be intersting to see the promos that come out for Jan-May in some of the city hotels where the weather is not the best as well as the Florida hotels in May-Aug.
