And having flown Openskies back in September, I can attest that Openskies is miles away from the OP's review of L'Avion above. Fully-flat seats, excellent cabin crew, mainline BA First Class catering (right down to Jasper Conran crockery and large glassware). Pre departure drinks (which we didn't get in JAL First Class of late), canapes, soup to nuts served on a tray but with linen, First Class duvets and pillows - and again, excellent cabin crew in both directions. Would happily fly Openskies again - an excellent product. I was under the impression the l'Avion a/c would be refurbed to match Openskies - perhaps due to current finance this is not the case...
