DTW Experts: Thoughts on 38 Minute Connection?

As a SLC Delta flyer, looking forward to seeing (briefly) the new DTW terminal and flying some Northwest metal.

I am going from a NW mainline (SLC to DTW) to a connection carrier (DTW to PIT on Mesa/NWA Airlink) with a 38 minute connection.

I saw some threads about mainline to mainline .. but wonder how you DTW experts feel about this connection.

I am also looking forward to flying a A-319 (I think). I hear many of these are headed out to SLC.
