Par for the course I'm afraid. Unfortunately, there is no way to deal with any Argentine procedure or "trámite" - you just have to bite your tongue, be very patient and put up with it. I had to cancel a credit card last week. In the UK, one short phone call would have done it. Here I had to go to the bank, see 3 different people, sign my signature 10 times and it took just over an hour
