So on the estimate screen you'd see the base rate x 2 but anything else (fees, LDW, etc.) charged for the actual time, which would be one day. Hmm, I've never seen it work like this--are you seeing any indication on the screen that you're being charged 2 days, or is it just giving you a rate that's simply about 2x higher than normal? I've only ever seen peteropny's example, where 1-day bookings show no cars while 2 or more days show availability. But that's more of a demand issue than company policy per se, as jakeflynwa seems to be suggesting.
