I walk to the airport in INN regularly, it's about 40 minutes from my home if you walk quickly. I also once walked to a flight from the University's sports department where I had a course. It's closer to the airport than the distance between two concourses on most major hubs, and there's even a dormitory on the way - I guess when those students fly home it's a really quick walk ;-)
