Gotta agree with this one. That LAX (or SFO) to SYD is a killer, and the back of a 744 is no place for your new bride. Then throw in a transcon at either end? Ouch! Don't waste time on wishes and dreams, make every effort to get both of you moved forward. You will find it very much worth the effort.
