I need to get to New Zealand for a youth conference in mid-January (10-18) and am running out of options. I have enough Northwest miles to get to some of the Asian cities, but Northwest doesn't go into Australia or New Zealand.

Does anyone know of anything? I was hoping I could find a flight to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, etc. and then a low-cost carrier to New Zealand.

I even tried bidding up to $950 on Priceline, but nothing has been accepted.

I can't find anything ... Anyone have any thoughts?
