Thanks for the info about the Termini area. I considered the area because of a nice hotel review I found on Trip Advisor and the proximity to public transportation.

I will look into the other areas and those hotels linked above look nice. I'm looking for 75-100 euros per night, private bath, wi fi is a must and breakfast included.

I've never thought of staying in a convent. Very interesting. I'll definitely take a look at that site.

I will do some more research on things to see and do. I should be there either Thursday - Sunday or Monday - Sunday.

Any idea on how the weather in Rome in February compares to Athens in February? I'm trying to decide in which city to spend more time.
