We stayed at this property as part of LHW's 1928 promotion. We got super-lucky, and got to stay here for two nights for $19.28/night during our honeymoon. More info on the promo is available
here, but the promo is now long gone.
Like others, we flew to Da Nang airport to get here

.
We negotiated a $15 taxi ride from the airport, and got to this amazing property in about 30 minutes (despite the rain).
When arriving, you get dropped off at the driveway, and you have to ascend the stairs to the open-air lobby.
We were asked if we want to check-in in the lobby or in the bar. We opted for the bar, and were checked in there. While checking in, we were offered a cold towel, as well as hot Ginger tea (which was yummy). We had asked the Front Office Manager for an upgrade, if possible, since we were on a honeymoon, but were told that upgrades were not available since they were at 50% occupancy (I didn't quite understand that comment, but that was OK).
We were shown to our villa. All one-bedroom non-pool villas are the same, however our villa (#4130) was the furthest away from the ocean.
Here is the hotel diagram, which got inverted when I scanned it. The Pool villas are located in the outside horse shoes, while the regular villas are in the inside horse shoes.
One bonus is that we were close enough to the lobby not to need to call a golf cart for a ride every time we wanted to leave the complex.
We were shown our room, and were definitely impressed with it. The best room we had previously stayed in was the Ian Flemming Suite at the
Hilton Northolme in the Seychelles, and this room blew it away!
Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel, though a few things bugged us had we paid full price (no complaints on the $20 rate, though...)
* Tea/coffee were not replenished daily by housekeeping
* Daily newspaper delivered inconsistently. We had to call to get the paper one of the two mornings we were there
* This is a relative biggie - shuttle to nearby Hoi An only goes a couple of times a day. I feel that a 5* resort should run its shuttles hourly, not 4 or so times a day. Cabs to Hoi An, however, were only $5.
Here are some pics of our room/hotel. It rained for the entire 2 days we were there, non-stop, so we never got to enjoy the pool or other outside areas. We did not have any meals at their restaurants, since there are such great places to eat in Hoi An!
View of the sink/closet areas. Villas have his/hers closets right next to each sink. It also has a separate toilet area (to the right), as well as an indoor shower area (to the left). We never used the indoor shower, only the outside one...
View to the sitting area, with the beach in the distance:

View from the couch/sitting area to the sleeping area above
View from our villa to other villa's day beds. Becuase of the weather, nobody was using their day beds.
View of the outdoor shower. Used the shower daily, even in the rain!
Notice that shampoo/conditioner/shower gel is dispensed in larger ceramic canisters, not single-use plastic bottles like in most hotels
View of the tub next to the bed:
View from the tub (hence the towel) onto the bed:
View of me diving into the Minibar. Right above the fridge, there was a tasty Espresso machine (Krups, I believe). Drinks were overpriced, but one could find the same exact cans in Hoi An for a fraction of the price in case the fridge needed to be replenished...
View of the Spa treatment rooms. These looked amazing, I wish we had a chance to check them out!
This is the pool we never got to use because of the rain...
Bostonbali thanks Leading Hotels of the World for letting us stay here for less than $20/night!!!
