Normally this property is pretty good about upgrades for Plats however. last Friday I checked in early 8.30am, didnt need a room as had to go to office, they said they would put my bag in the room. Got back 4pm to find put in a cityside room (actually booked) and no upgrade. The executive lounge assistant telephoned a "grade 3" staff who told her there were no suites. I got my laptop out and showed here there were was under "suite for a room promo " available at $450, so then finally the "grade 3" gave me one. When I phoned him later to ask why he lied, he said he 'unblocked" a room. He then said he woudl get the manager to call. No one phoned me. They were caught out.
