Unfortunately, there are TSO's who do challenge people regarding liquids that are considered medically necessary by the passenger.
Yup. I've seen it, too.

I agree that involving a sup or LEO is the way to go.

It takes less than a minute for us to test an item and there is no excuse for us not doing so IMO.
